1. Scope of this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes how Ramasa LLC, doing business as Mayuri (“Mayuri” or “we” or “our” or “us”) treats certain information collected or provided in connection with an end user’s (“you” or “your” or “user”) use of Mayuri’s website, www.mayuriseattle.com, and any other website, social media pages, apps, or other digital medium owned or operated by Mayuri. This Privacy Notice also applies to any Personal Information collected, stored, or used by us, such as information you provide us through the above mediums, by email, mail, or telephonic communications (collectively, the “Site”).

The information provided in this Privacy Notice is designed to inform you of what information we collect, why we collect such information, how we use the information we collect, and the choices we offer, including how to access and update information. By accessing or using our Site, you consent to the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Notice, including our collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information, as described below.

2. Personal Information We Collect from You

We get most Personal Information directly from you, through the Site, or from transactions with you. We might also obtain Personal Information about you from transactions you have with our authorized third-party vendors or partners. Personal Information is any information that can be used to identify you. Examples of Personal Information we may collect from you include:

You can choose to not provide certain information to us but it may delay or prevent us, in whole or in part, from providing our products or services to you, including your ability to create an account on our Site (“Account”), order our products or use our services, or participate in surveys, contests or sweepstakes.

This Privacy Notice does not cover data we, or our authorized third-party vendors or partners, collect that cannot be used to identify an individual or to pseudonymous data.

3. Personal Information Collected Automatically or Provided from Other Sources

We may collect Personal Information from you automatically when you use our Site. For example, we may automatically receive and store certain types of Personal Information whenever you visit the Site, such as information from Please note that disabling, blocking or deleting some of these Technologies may cause you to lose the functionality of certain features on our websites and mobile applications.

Our web servers may automatically collect log data, which provides aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on the Site. We use such aggregate log data to improve access to the Site based on visitors’ web browsers and operating system types to make the Site available to as many users as possible. We do not link the log data collected to Personal Information. Third party providers may also collect aggregate log data independently from us.

We may also collect Personal Information about you from other Site users or other individuals and entities with whom we have contact, including our third-party service providers. Please note, if you are sharing information with us about any other individual, you must first obtain their consent.

Our Site includes social media features connected with social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Those sites may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on the Site, and may set a cookie to enable social media features to function properly. Your interactions with social media sites, including any Personal Information you provide via buttons or links to these sites are governed by the privacy notice of the respective social media company. 

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We may collect Personal Information in order to improve our services, to deliver services, to perform contractual obligations, to comply with legal obligations, to help identify and prevent fraud, and for other purposes as described in this Privacy Notice.

We may collect and maintain Personal Information about you to create a personal profile containing preferences and other information that you voluntarily provide to us. Examples of the types of information we may collect for this purpose include, but is not limited to, your first and last name, a valid email address, and geographic location, or shipping or delivery addresses. Additionally, we may use your email address or phone number to send confirmation of purchases and, if necessary, to contact you to help process a purchase. We may also use your email address or phone number to notify you about special offers and promotions that may be of interest to you.

If you make a payment through the Site, a third-party payment processor will receive your payment information for purposes of processing such transaction. Purchases generally require payment card information to process. This includes name, payment card number, expiration date, billing and/or mailing address, and authentication codes or related information as needed to authorize the charge and complete the transaction. Payment card data transferred in connection with our payment processor is via a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) line if you are using a SSL enabled browser such as Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome. This ensures that your Personal Information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. We do not receive or store complete payment card information, though our payment processor may maintain your information for its records until you ask the payment processor to delete this information.

We use third-party service providers to perform certain services on our behalf, including, without limitation: shipping, payment processing, billing and collections, data storage/management, webhosting, fulfillment, assembly, marketing and data enhancement, mailing, and emailing as well as various customer, tech and operational support. These entities have their own privacy policies for which we are not responsible and whose terms may apply to you. Please be sure to review them at the links provided or as otherwise possible.

Our grocery delivery and shipping services are currently provided by various third-party service providers, including DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates, GrubHub and Mercato. We may change these third-party service providers at any time without notice to you. These third-party service providers may process or store the payment information that purchasers submit. We are not responsible for the any of these third-party service providers’ privacy notices or practices and you assume all related risks when using their platforms and services.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

In order to conduct our business and better serve you, we may disclose Personal Information and other information about you or your activities on our Site or while using our services with:

  • Our affiliates.
  • Our service providers and vendors, such as payment processors, third-party delivery and shipping providers, promotional partners, website hosts, analytics providers, legal counsel, and various customer, tech, and operational support.
  • Third parties approved by you, such as social media sites.
  • Financial and legal institutions.
  • Law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, courts, or other public authorities, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to respond to requests from governmental authorities, to protect our rights, to defend against legal claims, or as otherwise required by law.

We do not sell your Personal Information to any third parties.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, corporate change, or bankruptcy, we may share or transfer your Personal Information as part of a transfer of our assets to the acquiring entity. 

6. Retention, Confidentiality, and Security of Personal Information

We store Personal Information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described herein, as we determine is necessary for business records, and as required under applicable law.

We restrict access to Personal Information to those who need to know in order to provide services to you and to conduct our internal operations. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your information. However, the Internet is not absolutely secure and, thus, we cannot promise guaranteed security. In the unlikely event that we believe that the security of your Personal Information in our possession or control may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you. As applicable, we will comply with notification requirements for a security breach and may also notify you by email.

7. Children Under 13 

We do not knowingly collect information from minors and the Site is intended for adults over the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us without your consent, please notify us at xxxxxxx. If we become aware that information is or has been submitted by or collected from a minor under the age of 13, we will work to promptly delete this information.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Mayuri is located in the state of Washington, United States. Our customersimarily live in Washington. The Personal Information we collect is stored and used in the United States. Therefore, we make no representation that this Privacy Notice complies with the laws of any other jurisdiction, including other states or international jurisdictions.

If you no longer wish to receive promotional email communications from Mayuri, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future promotional emails. Opt-out requests may not be able to be immediately processed and you will continue to receive other types of transactional and non-promotional email communications from us. If you receive a promotional text message from us, you may opt out of receiving future promotional text messages from us by following the instructions in the text message you have received from us or by otherwise contacting us at xxxxxxx.

Users may log into the member site to view, amend, or delete Account information. Please note that while changes or deletions to your Account or Personal Information may be reflected promptly in the active user database, our servers or our associated third parties may retain previously provided information, and may be required to keep certain information or not delete it, or keep information for a certain period of time.

Any changes to, or deletion of, Account information does not affect any other information collected by us, or which we may retain and continue to use or disclose in accordance with this Privacy Notice. If we already provided your Personal Information to a third party before you changed your preferences or updated your Account, you may need to change your preferences directly with that third party.

We reserve the right to verify the identity of any person making a request to opt-out or to delete or modify Personal Information; provided, however, that we will have no liability of any kind resulting from false or erroneous requests or any change or deletion made by us for any reason. 

9. State Specific Disclosures

California

“Do not track”: Section 22575 of the California Business & Professions Code requires website and online service operators to disclose whether they honor web browser “Do Not Track” settings. Some browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that, when turned on, signals to websites and online services that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet an accepted standard for how to respond to browser DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. “Shine the Light” law: Effective January 1, 2005, under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, if an individual who is a California resident has provided Personal Information to a business in connection with a business relationship that is primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, and if that business has within the immediately preceding calendar year disclosed such an individual’s Personal Information to a third party and knows or should have known that such third party used the information for its own direct marketing purposes, then that business is obligated to disclose in writing to such individual upon request, what Personal Information was shared and with whom it was shared.

Please note that under this law, we are not required to respond to your request more than once in a calendar year, nor are we required to respond to any request that is not sent to the email or mailing address designated above.

Nevada 

We do not “sell” personal information as defined under Nevada’s consumer privacy law (SB 220). As an added assurance to individuals who entrust their personal data to us, they may sign up for a Do Not Sell My Information Log that we maintain. To do so, please email us as indicated below, and include the reference line “Nevada Do Not Sell”. We may contact you for additional information in order to process your request.
